Walking into a chess club for the first time can feel daunting. It shouldn't. Here is all there is to it.

- 03Play a gameSit down for a friendly game at your level, or watch for a while if you would rather settle in first.
- 04Come back if you enjoy itTry a session or two before deciding anything. Membership is arranged through the club — just ask us for the current options.

For players who want more than friendly games, the club fields teams in the Lincolnshire League. Matches are played through the season against clubs from across the county. If you would like to be considered for a team, come along and speak to us.
